Shop interiors

Fresh walls, with the stock where you left it

Inside a shop, the work is protection first: shelving wrapped, counters covered, floors taped and the register area left as it is. Paint goes on after closing and the room is reset before you open.

We agree in the plan who holds a key, who sets the alarm and who we call if something needs your decision at night.

Inside the plan

  • Walls, ceilings, doors and trim

  • Accent walls and brand color

  • Fixtures, shelving and counters, when listed

  • Lock-up and alarm routine written into the plan

Protection

What we cover before we open a can

Paint is the short part of the night. Most of it is getting your shop ready to be painted around.

  • Stock and shelving

Wrapped or moved to the middle of the floor, then put back where it was.

  • Floors and counters

Taped paper and drop cloths; counters covered, not stacked.

  • Registers and screens

Left alone and covered. Nothing electronic is moved without you.

  • Air and dust

Sanding is kept to what the surface needs, with a vacuum on the tool.

Spraying

When a room is sprayed instead of rolled

Spraying suits big ceilings and open floors. It means masking every edge, a respirator on whoever holds the wand and a longer clear-out before you reopen. When the plan calls for it, it says so and says why.

About shop interiors

Will we be able to open on time?

The plan is built backward from the hour you open. It names which surfaces are dry enough to use, which stay behind wet-paint signs, and who walks the front with your opener. If a night is lost to rain, we tell you before you open, not after.

Do you need a key or alarm code?

Only if the inside is part of the job. For exteriors we work from the sidewalk and entry. For interiors we agree on a key, a lock-up routine and an alarm contact in the plan, and write down who holds what.

What does the estimate include, and what is extra?

It lists surfaces, repairs, coats, products and sheens, colors, protection, night schedule, cleanup and payments. Rot, failed substrate or extra colors found after the old paint comes off are written up and priced before we continue.

Who buys the paint, and which paint is it?

We buy it. The estimate names the product and sheen for each surface. Ask for the product data sheet and we will send it.
